6 worlds

God,
When you breathed breath into me
You became my first teacher
The first word you taught me
Was ‘love’
Said
It exists
Said
Its like a sword
It’s body shining with hope
Defying the sun
I believed You.
The next day you taught me
‘Happiness’
Said
That it
Dwells in each
Said
It was a
Rainbow
Which brought
Colour in everyone’s life
I believed you
Next
You taught me
‘Hope’
Said
That it makes life easy
Said
That it’s the
Key
To everyone’s happiness
I believed You
But why God
Didn’t you tell me
About
‘Hatred’
Which is the chant of the People Around
Why didn’t you tell me about
‘Selfishness’
Which is why people, now live
Why didn’t you tell me about
‘Unhappiness’
Which is the only thing left in each’s life.
Now God tell me how can I believe you

God can't teach you everything. You have to learn yourself.
morbid princess, ahem. this is poetry. you don't have to be all that practical???!! god might not even exist.
you know what, ziana, when you read the poems out loud, you kinda spoil the effect. i read this one in a completely new light today, because oetry should touch a chord in the reader - so the reader should read it like he interprets it.
