Weapon

It struck yet again. Slowly, quietly it took over her mind, then her being and gradually her whole life. She sat facing the infinite sky looking for an answer which never seemed to come. And like most human beings, she asked the same-Why? She'd heard when she was a child that love could change everything. Today as she sat by the sea, that word seemed even more illusionary, surreal.
There was no hope. Neither within nor without. Silent tears rolled down. Hopeless in the face of destiny. She didnt want to live. She dint even want to die. All she wasnted was to disconnect. Forget.Go back and erase her past. Specially the dreams which had brought more pain than the seperation. The dreams she had painted with her loved as they sat holding hands. The hopes that were associated. It was her life, all she could think of.She could not seperate. It was still dancing in her mind, the brush of imagination still painted various scenes. But she knew it wouldnt happen anymore. He was long since dead. With one game of fate, her life overturned. Anger tormented through her whole self. Pangs of destruction came and went. And all she was left with was the search for hope.
