Where Am I

That’s where I belong
To a world where justice exists
Life breathes
And people live without fear
That’s where I belong
Where God becomes a friend
Where money is not a barrier
And tears are not given a cold shoulder
That’s where I belong
But where is this world
Where do I go looking for it
Money destroys relationships
And selfishness kills love
God is a strange distant person we worship
And here there’s nothing but
Unhappiness and destruction

Nothing is left but darkness
There’s nothing left to live for
There’s nothing about life to cherish about
Hatred meets at every path
Unhappiness in the eye for every dream lived
Life has come to an end
Where but only one path leads
That of
Unhappiness
Hatred
Tears
Solitude
Longing

threshhold of the heart

The call of the heart comes through
Through the darkness drawn on it
Through the letters destroyed by the other side of love
Through the hatred imposed on it
It all comes on this paper through the threshold of the heart which holds the pen
Through the fire that was silenced
Through the tears unshed
Through the melancholy…
That grows with every passing moment.
God,
Silence it once more…
So that I stop feeling this
Even though the fire’s fanned
Let the volcano erupt but once
So that everything’s destroyed in a moment

6 worlds

God,
When you breathed breath into me
You became my first teacher
The first word you taught me
Was ‘love’
Said
It exists
Said
Its like a sword
It’s body shining with hope
Defying the sun
I believed You.
The next day you taught me
‘Happiness’
Said
That it
Dwells in each
Said
It was a
Rainbow
Which brought
Colour in everyone’s life
I believed you
Next
You taught me
‘Hope’
Said
That it makes life easy
Said
That it’s the
Key
To everyone’s happiness
I believed You
But why God
Didn’t you tell me
About
‘Hatred’
Which is the chant of the People Around
Why didn’t you tell me about
‘Selfishness’
Which is why people, now live
Why didn’t you tell me about
‘Unhappiness’
Which is the only thing left in each’s life.
Now God tell me how can I believe you
